This Payment Policy explains the payment method, payment process, order verification, refunds and related terms applicable to purchases made from Outdoor Optur through our online store.

Only payment methods actually displayed during checkout are available for the relevant order.

  1. Accepted Payment Method

For orders placed through our online store, the payment method currently available at checkout is Cash on Delivery, also known as COD or Nachnahme.

Cash on Delivery means that payment is collected when the parcel is delivered.

Only the payment method displayed during checkout is available for the relevant order.

If additional payment methods become available in the future, they will be displayed clearly during checkout before the customer submits the order.

  1. Cash on Delivery

When Cash on Delivery is available for an order, the customer pays the applicable order amount when the parcel is delivered.

The delivery provider may provide instructions regarding how payment must be completed at the time of delivery.

Customers should follow the payment instructions provided by the authorized delivery provider.

Cash on Delivery availability may depend on factors such as delivery country or region, delivery address, postal code, product, order value, delivery method or carrier availability.

If Cash on Delivery is unavailable for a particular order, it will not be displayed as an available payment method during checkout.

  1. Order Amount

The amount payable by the customer is displayed during checkout before the order is submitted.

The checkout page may show the product price, quantity, applicable taxes, delivery charges where applicable, discounts where applicable and the final order total.

Customers should review all order information before placing an order.

We do not intentionally add undisclosed charges after an order has been submitted.

  1. Currency

Prices for customers in Germany are displayed in EUR where applicable.

The applicable currency and final order total are shown during checkout before the customer submits the order.

  1. Cash on Delivery Order Verification

Certain Cash on Delivery orders may require reasonable verification before processing or dispatch.

Verification may include confirming the customer name, delivery address, telephone number where provided, email address, products ordered, order value and the customer's intention to receive the parcel.

This process may be used to help reduce incorrect delivery information, unauthorized orders, fraudulent orders, failed deliveries and uncollected parcels.

If additional information is reasonably required to process an order, we may contact the customer using the contact information provided during checkout.

  1. Order Confirmation

After an order has been successfully submitted, the customer will normally receive an order confirmation using the email address provided during checkout.

The confirmation may include the order number, products ordered, quantity, order total, selected payment method, delivery address and other relevant order information.

Customers should review the confirmation and contact us as soon as possible if any information is incorrect.

  1. Refused or Uncollected Cash on Delivery Orders

If you no longer wish to receive an order, please contact us as soon as possible before dispatch.

Repeated refusal or failure to collect Cash on Delivery parcels without a reasonable explanation may result in Cash on Delivery being restricted for future orders where permitted by applicable law.

This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable right of withdrawal, cancellation right, return right, refund right or other statutory consumer protection.

  1. Refunds

Refunds are handled in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

Because Cash on Delivery payments are collected upon delivery, an approved refund may require a different refund method.

Where a refund is due, we may contact the customer to obtain information reasonably necessary to process the refund.

We will only request information reasonably required for the refund.

We will never request passwords, PIN codes or complete account login credentials by email or telephone.

  1. Returns and Statutory Withdrawal Rights

Payment related refunds arising from a return, cancellation or statutory withdrawal are handled in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy, our Terms of Service and applicable consumer law.

Nothing in this Payment Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

  1. Payment and Order Security

We take reasonable measures designed to provide a secure ordering environment.

Customers should place orders only through our official online store and should not send sensitive authentication information by email.

Outdoor Optur will never ask customers to provide account passwords, PIN codes, complete login credentials or other sensitive authentication information by email or telephone.

We may perform reasonable order checks where necessary to help prevent unauthorized or fraudulent activity.

  1. Fraud Prevention

We may carry out reasonable checks designed to prevent unauthorized purchases, identity misuse, fraudulent Cash on Delivery orders, false delivery information, account abuse and other suspicious order activity.

Where reasonably necessary, we may contact the customer for confirmation, temporarily hold an order, request clarification of order or delivery details or cancel an order where there are reasonable grounds to believe it is fraudulent, unauthorized or unlawful.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

  1. Personal Information

Personal information relating to orders and payments is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Information may be shared where reasonably necessary with service providers involved in processing or completing the order, including Shopify, delivery companies, Cash on Delivery service providers, fraud prevention service providers and technical service providers.

Such information may be used for legitimate purposes including processing orders, arranging delivery, arranging Cash on Delivery collection, preventing fraud, processing refunds, maintaining transaction records and complying with applicable legal obligations.

  1. Taxes and Delivery Charges

Any taxes, delivery charges or other amounts charged directly by Outdoor Optur will be displayed during checkout where applicable.

For the German market, customers should review the final checkout total before placing the order.

Changes will not retroactively remove mandatory consumer rights relating to orders already concluded.
